Dr. NANA Aboubakar DJALLOH, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Environment, received in audience on Monday, 26 June 2023, H.E. Dr Christian DENNYS McCLURE, British High Commissioner to Cameroon, who has come to the end of his diplomatic assignment.
The tête-à tête between the Minister Delegate and his guest focused on the cooperation between the two countries in the environmental protection field and future prospects. The forthcoming opening of an environmental office within the diplomatic representation was also discussed.
After wishing him all the best in his career, Dr. NANA Aboubakar DJALLOH paid tribute to the British diplomat’s commitment to the environmental cause in Cameroon, including support to the Game Changers project for low-carbon farming, the launch of the Green Network to beat plastic pollution, as well as support to the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI) project.
